I would like to say “Thank You” for this excellent course which gave me a clear vision and motivation to focus on my next step: To develop and settle a whole school singing strategy in our school.

Objective: To develop secure understanding of how to lead and develop singing in a primary school setting
Content: In this course you will learn everything you need to know about leading singing in a primary (5-11) setting. You will consider the latest research into the impact of singing in schools, receive advice on developing a whole school culture of singing, participate in video tutorials on singing and conducting techniques, and read advice on selecting repertoire, using singing to support the curriculum, and how to start, maintain, and improve a choir.
Structure: The course is structured into eight sections. Each section contains a mixture of online reading & research, video and audio materials, and interactive quizzes. The course is designed to be completed at your own pace, and if you wish to you have the option of submitting a short assignment in order to receive a completion certificate.

4. How to Sing – teaching singing technique
5. How to Conduct – techniques for leading singing

Outcome: On completion of this course you will be able to implement a whole school singing strategy for your school.
