The Studio at The Highfield
This event is for schools who have been appointed by their music hub to act as Lead Schools for Music.
During the day, each school will have the chance to present, as formally or informally as they would like, their approach to supporting other schools, and there will also be a national picture update from Dr Liz Stafford (Music Education Solutions®). There will be ample opportunity to network, learn from, and make connections with other Lead Schools during the day, which includes lunch and refreshments. Towards the end of the event we will discuss if and how we want the Lead Schools Network to proceed in the future, so that schools can continue to support each other on a national level.
Travel Information
Arriving by Car: Pay and Display Parking is available in the adjacent car park – you may park in any space labelled The Highfield, or Highfield Town House.
Arriving by Public Transport: Take the tram from Birmingham New Street to Edgbaston (around 10 minutes) and the venue is a 5 minute walk from the tram stop.
