Music Education and SEMHD

In this 1.5 hour webinar led by Dr Phil Mullen you will explore strategies for delivering music activities for children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMHD). Dr Mullen will draw from his experience in PRUs, his PhD and his book to investigate the elements that build for success with these young people. You will learn how to work with what the young people bring, including the importance of matching focus and energy. The session will help you consider how you organise and resource your sessions, as well as encouraging you to think about your own intentions and use reflective practice to ensure that you are always meeting these young people’s needs.
