In light of the current COVID19 pandemic, we wanted to reassure you that we have a comprehensive plan in place to ensure the safety of our staff and clients over the coming months. We are constantly updating our policies and procedures using the latest information from the World Health Organisation and the NHS, and we will notify you promptly of any changes to the information outlined below.

As you may be aware, MES is run by an extremely small team! It is the norm for our staff to work from home unless attending events, so we will continue with our usual routine of home-working for the foreseeable future. Our office space (which we share with 3 other companies) is only used for client meetings. Out of courtesy to the other organisations using the building we will not be scheduling any meetings in the foreseeable future, but utilising video calling and other technologies from home instead.

We will be cancelling our ‘Dive Deeper into Music’ course on 18th March due to government advice. Our June ‘Music Education Partnerships & Projects Day’ will also be cancelled. This is due to the fact that the ‘peak’ of the virus is likely to hit during May and June, and also due to the fact that we do not wish to be marketing and ‘selling’ to schools at the moment when they have so many other things to worry about! Exhibitors and delegates who have already booked on this event will be refunded in full. All other future events remain scheduled at this time.

Our online services such as the Level 4 Certificate for Music Educators, and our Online Courses via musiceducationcourses.com will remain largely unaffected during this time. It is possible that mentors for the CME may need to temporarily change to cover sickness leave, and it is possible that feedback may be sent out later than the 28 day window if members of the assessment team are off sick, but other than that we do not anticipate there being large-scale changes to the way we operate our online services.

Wishing you and your families all the best for the coming months,

Liz, Jon and all at Music Education Solutions®
