We are looking for two exceptional individuals to join our panel of Associate Trainers, working in a self-employed capacity, one based in the South West of England, and one in the North East of England.
The nature of the work will be to deliver music education training workshops at our new course centres in the South West or North East of England, beginning in October 2014. The time commitment will be negotiable over and above a minimum of one day per term. For the right candidate, there may also be opportunity for other training and consultancy work throughout the UK.
We are looking for experienced workshop leaders with a strong local profile and an established or developing national profile. Candidates will have QTS and extensive teaching experience in either primary or secondary music, or instrumental/vocal teaching. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in more than one of these teaching contexts. Candidates will have a solid understanding of music education pedagogy and a high level of musicianship, as well as excellent communication, presentation and IT skills.
To express an interest in these self-employed consultancy posts, send a CV, the details of two references, and a covering letter detailing which of our current courses you would be confident to deliver, and any specialisms you have which we could use to develop further courses, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applications close 12 noon Monday 28th April.
