First Access Forum 2019
Now in its fifth year, the First Access Forum is moving to Leeds for the first time! The event will be held in the RIBA award-nominated surroundings of Leeds College of Music's brand new Rooftop Bar and Venue.
This event is for anyone interested in whole class instrumental teaching, including leaders and teachers from music education hubs, schools, and private music organisations.
The emphasis of the day is on discussion and debate, with plenty of opportunities for peer-sharing and networking. There will also be a range of presentations from whole class instrumental teaching experts, and a trade fair showcasing some of the UK's best music education organisations, including Inspire-Works.
Programme Highlights:
Discussion - How can we truly differentiate in a WCET setting?
Instrument Focus Groups - peer discussion sessions streamed by instrument
Discussion - Can WCET work at KS3?
Workshop - Behaviour Management in WCET
Peer Sharing Session - bring along your favourite musical games and activities to share
