Drawing on the latest best-practice research, this course for instrumental and primary teachers will inspire you to make the most of your First Access / Whole Class Ensemble Teaching / Whole Class Instrumental Teaching / Wider Opportunities programmes, whatever your school or music hub calls them!! The course will cover issues such as integrating First Access into the main music curriculum, the role of the class teacher, co-planning, assessment, and the recommended content of First Access lessons.
This course is linked to the national online training programme for WCET teachers, 'Excellence in First Access'. The online programme is delivered through our sister site musiceducationcourses.com and will be available from September 2017.
