Excellence in Instrumental & Vocal Teaching
This course is for instrumental and vocal teachers working in any setting including schools, music hubs and private teaching. You will consider the different approaches required to effectively engage and motivate pupils young and old in one-to-one, small group, and ensemble teaching contexts. Topics include how to plan and deliver holistic lessons, how to deal with school, parental and pupil expectations, how to select assessment and accreditation opportunities, how to use reflective practice to develop your teaching and improve pupil learning outcomes.

Course Objective: Develop a deeper understanding of best practice in instrumental & vocal teaching in individual, small group and ensemble settings.
